The OMID Foundation was founded in 2021 to help the Afghan people affected by humanitarian crisis, including climate crisis, to survive, recover and rebuild their lives through sustainable programs. We provide assistance to Afghans in the areas of healthcare, education, economic well-being and empowerment.
Our support focuses on the Afghan people, on refugees and returnees. We provide aid regardless of religion, political views, ethnicity, nationality, gender and sexual orientation.
The OMID Foundation provides humanitarian and life-saving assistance to people affected by years of conflict, violence, or climate disasters in the areas of healthcare, education, economic well-being, and empowerment. In extension of this, we also support them in finding structural and sustainable solutions so they can build a better future independently. Our aid primarily focuses on the local population, refugees and returnees. We provide assistance regardless of religious beliefs, political views, ethnicity, nationality, gender, and sexual orientation.
The OMID Foundation places the dignity of every individual at its core. As a forward-thinking and independent organization, we are solution-driven, adaptable, and determined to create lasting impact.
We foster innovation and embrace new ideas and cutting-edge technologies to develop creative and sustainable solutions for the challenges in the countries where we work.
