The OMID Foundation is proud to announce a new partnership with The International Network for Aid, Relief and Assistanc (INARA) in Afghanistan -marking a significant step forward in delivering vital healthcare and educational support to children and vulnerable communities across the country. Through this collaboration, INARA will act as the implementing partner, helping bring OMID’s mission to life on the ground.
The partnership focuses on two key areas:
Healthcare: Expanding access to essential medical services, supporting children and vulnerable populations with long-term care and critical interventions.
Education: Creating learning opportunities by providing scholarships, strengthening educational infrastructure, and working with partners to increase access to quality education.
“A child with horrific burns should not die because the hospital’s oxygen supply has broken down and there is no funding to fix it. Through our partnership with OMID, we’ve ensured that this does not happen in one hospital in Kabul,” said Arwa Damon, INARA’s Founder and President. “But there is so much more work to be done, especially in light of the USAID cuts. Together with OMID, we pledge to do whatever we can to reach some of Afghanistan’s most underserved communities and provide children with access to healthcare and education.”
Haris Faiz, Founder and Chairman of the OMID Foundation, added: “With this partnership, we’ve found in INARA not just an ally who shares our long-term vision for our homeland, but one that empowers us to pursue our international ambitions. What once felt like a distant dream—to extend our emergency and development aid beyond Afghanistan to the wider Middle East, including places like Lebanon and Gaza—is now within reach.”
Together, OMID and INARA aim to build a more hopeful and resilient future for Afghan
children.
